1 May PortsdownCamcorders Users Club at 7.30 pm South Street Centre Subject  “ Video making with green or blue screen”     The PCUC is a friendly club for anybody interested in video  making or editing  New members are welcome. 5-27 May  Special Exhibition “Out of the Blue”  at Emsworth Museum by The Stitchmakers.  The Stitchmakers are showing some of their marvellous creations in stitch, embroidery, silk and satin, an eye-opener in what can be created with different materials. Note that The Museum will be open during the Emsworth Art  Trail days 5 ,6, 7, 12th, 13th of May from 10.30 to 4.30 pm.

7 May Boat Project Launch at Thornham Marina - a celebratory event that will bring together the thousands of people who came together to create the boat and that will herald the beginning of its maiden voyage. (The  Boat  Project  is  part  of  the  
London  2012  Cultural  Olympiad  and  funded  by  Arts  Council  England.)

22 - 25 May   Festival of Harbour Walks Annual celebration of walking the harbour footpaths, along the shoreline and through harbour countryside and communities. To celebrate 30 years of the Chichester Harbour walks we are inviting walkers to raise sponsorship for the Friends of Chichester Harbour.

29 May Emsworth Guided Walk Starting at the Museum at 6.00pm the walk will encompass the two mill-ponds, the Square, King Street and Brook Meadow, arriving back at the Museum about 7.45pm.  The pace is fairly slow, with lots of stopping and talking places. If you would like to join one of the walks, members of the Emsworth Maritime and Historical trust, can book in advance for £2.00 per person.  If you do not book then it will be the charge £3.00 per person.
