rear. Liable to flooding at high spring tides in storm conditions.

Location Map An excellent range of beers (including
those from Ringwood
Brewery and a fine menu. The skittle alley can be prebooked and there is
an attractive garden to the rear adjacent to the headwaters of the River Ems -
very close to its source here. For the more energetic this is a good starting
and/or finishing point for walking in the Downs. Unfortunately not open all
day.

Hampshire an excellent restaurant and large dining area to the rear. Close by

menu. This pub is close by the
Amberley Chalk Pits Museum.

White Horse, Chilgrove

An extensive a la carte menu and a
refurbished Chilgrove restaurant, not cheap but very tasty. Garden in a
beautiful down land setting with attractive views.

A very popular pub with a good range of
beers and an extensive menu. You are advised to pre-book if you want a table,
especially at weekends. (Tel: 01243 572477). Located on the Chidham
peninsular this pub is a good starting off point for a walk around the shore
which is only a short distance away.

Harrow Inn, Sheet nr. Petersfield.

A most unusual but very attractive quiet
pub which has remained in the same family since 1935. Ballards and Ringwood
beers are stop and the pub offers a wide range of tasty bar food. The two
bars are tiny
but there seating outside to the front and attractive garden to the side.
Well worth a visit.

its fun weekends and quality food and country walks. Friendly with excellent
service and the usual range of Gales beers. Open 11am to 3pm and 6pm to 11pm.

park. restaurant area is non-smoking but there is
plenty of room in the bar.
