Get on to the M27 and Head east towards Portsmouth and
Chichester.
Stay on the M27, which becomes the A27 just past the junction with the M275, heading
towards Chichester and going past the junctions for Portsmouth (M275), Southsea (A2030),
London A3(M)) and Havant/Hayling (A3023).
Turn off the A27 at the next
junction and follow the A259 signposted to Emsworth (A259).
Go past the Brookfield hotel (Clinton stayed
here during the D-day anniversary in 1994) and an Esso garage, both on the left.
About 600 yards past the
garage (roughly 100 yards before traffic lights at a pedestrian crossing turn right into
Beach Road
- distant view of the sea.
Take the first turning right,
about half way down Beach Road, into West Road.
At the end of West Road
turn
left or right into Maisemore Gardens.
