From the east

 

 

Get on to the A27 and head west towards Chichester, Portsmouth and Southampton

Avoid entering Chichester by taking the bypass – the A27 follow the signs for Portsmouth and Southampton.

At the end of the Chichester bypass you will approach the Fishbourne Roundabout identified by a large Tescos store.

Stay on the A27 continuing to follow the signs for Portsmouth and Southampton for eight miles. At the first junction turn off onto the A259 and follow the signs for Emsworth You will now be heading East.

Go past the Brookfield hotel (Clinton stayed here during the D-day anniversary in 1994) and an Esso garage, both on the left.

About 600 yards past the garage (roughly 100 yards before traffic lights at a pedestrian crossing turn right into Beach Road - distant view of the sea.

Take the first turning right, about half way down Beach Road, into West Road.

At the end of West Road turn left or right into Maisemore Gardens. You have arrived .
