No. 7 Itchenor

Another straightforward walk (about 6 km) around part of the shoreline of Chichester Harbour with fine views across to the Chidham Peninsular , Thorney Island, Hayling Island and East Head as well as the boating activities in the Harbour.

The walk starts at West Itchenor, parking in the large public car park (see map to left). Walk to the foreshore and turn left following the public footpath along the shore. Then its easy just walk as far as you like and the turn around and come back. The energetic may wish to walk on to West Wittering (visit The Lamb PH for refreshment) and then to East Head. The more adventurous may  return via the paths and tracks that traverse the farmland inland from the shore (see the larger scale map below).
