A pleasant short (3 miles) stroll along the Chichester Canal and back again - ideal on a hot summer's day. This walk has several advantages: it is totally flat; it is virtually impossible to get lost: there is the Spotted Cow at the end.
Start at the Canal Basin, Chichester, (on street parking or use one of the city centre car parks and follow the old towpath south. At Hunston you will find the aforementioned Spotted Cow where refreshment may be taken.  The enthusiastic may then choose to walk on to the Chichester Yacht Basin on the shore of Chichester Harbour, otherwise turn around and walk back to Chichester.
